Meet Charles C. Chapman from Medina, Ohio
Charles is one of my favorite ancestors and a local historical society published an article that I wrote in their newsletter. He was born in 1820 in Genesee County, New York and came to Medina with his uncle, Charles Shaw. Charlie Chapman’s wife was Fanny Dorcas Chandler Chapman and is my “gateway ancestor” leading me to Richard Warren who came to Plymouth Colony aboard the Mayflower in 1620.
