Excavations of Akrotiri
The prehistoric settlement in Akrotiri is an archaeological site of great importance as it is considered a significant discovery. The fact that the site managed to stay well-preserved after the several volcanic eruptions that occurred on the island is itself extraordinary and it makes the place totally worth exploring up close.
Emporio Village
Emporio is the largest settlement of Santorini, a peaceful traditional village that boasts edifices of Cycladic architecture, old churches, wonderful windmills and one of the five fortified castles of the island. Walk around its narrow alleys that resemble a labyrinth and admire cave houses, tiny balconies, adorable yards and domes. (40 minutes)
Perissa Beach
Perissa is a cosmopolitan beach resort that constitutes a part of the lengthy Black Sand Beach. Here you’ll have plenty of time to relax by the sea and enjoy this extraordinary beach. You can swim in refreshing crystal clear waters and have a go at a variety of watersports. Profitis Ilias Mountain
Being the highest point of the island, Profitis Ilias Mountain offers sublime panoramic views in every direction. Gaze at vast vineyards and plains, the coastline of Santorini as well as the spectacular volcano in the Aegean Sea and the nearby islands.
